What is it? My final concept will be an augmented reality app, simply titled 'RUG'. This app is a fully functional e-commerce rug designing app, I feel I have truly have found a gap in the market for this app as there is currently nothing else like this out there. The user will be able to create an account, create their own rug by choosing the design, si ze, shape and colours and order it all within the application. They will also be able to view their rug in their own home before ordering it by using the AR aspect of the app. The user will be able to move and resize their rug while using the AR feature. Who is it for? I will be aiming this product at people who are working to middle class and are interested in interior design, and home personalisation. I will also be looking to work alongside students, particularly textile students. It will be a platform in which they could view their designs in real time before they make them....
